Captain America: Brave New World Anthony Mackie explains how losing the Marvel Universe’s Super Soldier Serum made him a different kind of Captain America, making him even more exciting. After being bequeathed a shield and cloak Avengers: EndgamePainfully, Sam Wilson clearly lacks the one defining characteristic of his predecessor: the superhuman abilities granted by the Super Soldier serum. This has led many to question why Cap didn’t choose Bucky as his successor since he was his oldest friend and matched his abilities, but honestly, I think Steve made the right choice.
As one of the most powerful non-superpowered characters in the Marvel Universe, I think Sam Wilson deserves a huge amount of respect. Rushing into more powerful threats like Thanos and his army is proof enough that he has the courage needed to take on the mantle of Captain America. Compared to his predecessors and many of the opponents he faced, Wilson was an underdog – which Captain America: Brave New World Seems ready to take full advantage.
Anthony Mackie explains why it’s funny that Sam Wilson doesn’t have a Super Soldier serum
Anthony Mackie reveals how Sam compensates for lack of serum
Anthony Mackie opens up in interview deadline Regarding Sam Wilson’s lack of super soldier serum, it seems to be confirmed that Wilson did not receive any super soldier serum in previous years brave new world. He details how Wilson overcame the shortcomings of his superpowers and establishes that Sam Wilson is more of a strategic warrior than a man who overwhelms his enemies with force. I think that’s why he’s so interesting. The full text of his statement is as follows:
“The serum is very different – you can fight anyone. When you don’t have the serum, you have to be smart and devise different ways to defeat [enemies]. As a counselor, Sam uses his brain more than his brawn. He uses his wits more than his fists. He was more like everyone’s friend. “
The 20 most powerful superheroes in the MCU
The MCU has a vast roster of superheroes, each possessing incredible abilities that make them some of the most powerful beings in the multiverse.
Sam Wilson uses brains over brawn, which puts him in a similar position and compares him to more tactical Marvel heroes like Iron Man, though his firepower is still significantly reduced. Iron Man is only on par with the Hulk through his Hulkbuster armor, which is arguably his most powerful suit before harnessing nanotechnology. Sam Wilson doesn’t seem to have access to the same powers as the Hulkbuster, which means he’ll need to develop a degree of strategy, which only makes his battle with the Red Hulk that much more interesting.
I believe Brave New World will be a different kind of Captain America movie
This is necessary for Sam’s unique fighting style
Although some people have hinted at this idea Captain America: Brave New World will produce the same tone Captain America: Winter Soldier I find this relatively hard to believe when it comes to the Red Hulk. trailer Captain America: Brave New World In contrast, commitment glasses with Captain America: Civil War – I certainly agree with that. Still, the film will go significantly off-piste in a very obvious way, with Anthony Mackie already admitting: “Very different from serum“.
The MCU’s Hulk was created to recreate the super-soldier serum that Steve Rogers received using gamma radiation under the tutelage of Thunder Ross.
Sam’s approach to challenges will always be influenced by this fact. During Steve Rogers’ career in the Marvel Universe, he was portrayed as a masterpiece whose super strength, speed, and endurance made him a formidable opponent to the villains in the movies. For example, it’s hard to imagine Sam Wilson being as unscathed as Steve Rogers when he was trapped in an elevator with several Hydra agents. It was also impossible for Sam to ground the helicopter by grabbing the landing skid and grabbing the rails.
RELATED All 26 Super Soldiers Created in the MCU (Not Just Captain America)
Captain America is the most famous super soldier in the Marvel Universe, but several other heroes have followed in his footsteps with varying degrees of success.
At the same time, it’s easy to imagine Sam accomplishing these feats differently. Therefore, I believe this movie will emphasize that Sam Wilson has to work harder to achieve the same results as his predecessor. After all, this is foreshadowed by the interaction between President Ross and Captain America in the trailer, with Ross saying “you are not steve rogers”, Sam replied defiantly, “you’re right. I’m not“.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ can recreate the essence of Steve Rogers’ amazing fights
Some of Steve Rogers’ best moments involved him using brilliant strategies
What other physical shortcomings does Sam have compared to Steve? Captain America: Brave New World Evoking some of Steve Rogers’ best moments. While Sam Wilson relies on lightning-quick thinking out of necessity to get the upper hand, Rodgers isn’t without the ability. Aside from his indomitable will, one of the best abilities in Rogers’ arsenal that wasn’t overtly granted by the Super Soldier serum is his mental agility.
I’m again reminded of the iconic elevator scene where Steve quickly discerns the situation he’s facing before tackling it head-on. In another glorious moment in the elevator, he calmly obtains Loki’s scepter during a time heist. Avengers: Endgame Tricked Jasper Sitwell into thinking he was also a HYDRA agent. During his fight with Bucky, he was able to restrain his punches enough to keep him out of serious danger. Then there are the countless moments where Steve sees the battlefield and strategizes accordingly, continually proving his ability to lead the Avengers.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
It’s revealed that Steve revealed his plan to Bucky and then traveled back to the 1940s to grow old with Peggy Carter.
I think that’s where Sam Wilson comes into his own. As I said before, Steve’s decision to bequeath the shield to Sam certainly had more to do with their non-superpower similarities, including their shrewd minds. This highlights that these factors were always more important to the role of Captain America than any physical ability. This also implies Captain America: Brave New World These moments of brilliance will be replicated to show how Sam, too, is worthy of carrying the shield.
I’m more excited about the fight scenes in Captain America: Brave New World
Captain America’s shortcomings will increase the risk of his fight
Considering all this, I think Captain America: Brave New World Has the potential to feature some of the best fight scenes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While watching rivals like Thor and Hulk Whale has its merits, what fascinates me even more is watching an underdog strategize his way out of an almost impossible situation. The question on everyone’s mind when watching the trailer is how exactly Sam Wilson will go up against the real Hulk – and I imagine the answer will be incredibly satisfying.
It’s obvious from this scene that while Sam doesn’t possess superpowers, his access to a vibranium device would be a major boon.
While Sam Wilson’s fight scene with the Red Hulk is ostensibly the main event of the movie, the trailer also promises more action scenes. Another scene that stood out to me was Cap fighting off a barrage of missiles, using his vibranium shield and wings to detonate them before they hit their target. It’s obvious from this scene that while Sam doesn’t possess superpowers, his access to a vibranium device would be a major boon.
It seems the vibranium also protects him from supersonic landings, which he can use to wipe out a group of gun-toting enemies in one fell swoop. He can also be seen cutting a car in half with his wings, using tools at his disposal that would otherwise have taken the blow to Steve Rogers. These scenes are in Captain America: Brave New World The trailers already look incredible, and now I’m even more hopeful that Sam will prove himself a worthy successor with more moments like this.
Captain America: Brave New World (original title new world order) Sam Wilson makes his first Marvel big-screen appearance as Steve Rogers’ successor after receiving the suit and shield in Phase 4’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Anthony Mackie returns as the titular Avenger, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Carl Lumby as Isaiah Bradley, and Tim Blake Nelson as the Hulk’s former ally Samuel Stearns. Harrison Ford makes his Marvel Universe debut, replacing the late William Hurt as Thaddeus Ross.
