Anu Sithara is an Indian actress who works primarily in the Malayalam film industry. She made her debut in the Malayalam film industry in 2013 with the film Potas Bomb.

Anu Sithara Pulivetti Salam was born on Monday, August 21, 1995 in Kalpetta, Wayanad, Kerala (age 28; as of 2023). She completed her schooling from SKMJ High School, Kalpetta, Wayanad, Kerala. She pursued her bachelor’s degree from WMO College of Arts and Sciences, Kalpetta, Muthir, Wayanad, Kerala. She is a professional dancer and pursued her higher studies at Kalamandalam College in Kerala with Mohiniyattam as the main subject. She is passionate about dance and started a dance school (Navarassa) at home in 2020. In an interview, she revealed that her mother’s friend Renjini played an important role in Anu’s selection in the 2013 Malayalam film Pottas Bomb. Renjini forwarded Sitara’s photo to the film crew, after which Anu was invited to audition and got the role.
