Anuj Chaudhary (1994-2023) was an Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) who was murdered in broad daylight in Moradabad in August 2023.

Anuj Chaudhary (also spelled Anuj Choudhary) alias Anuj Kumar was born on Tuesday, January 4, 1994 (age 29 at the time of death) in the village of Alyanekpur in Choya district of Sambal district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. He attended primary school in a local school in the village but did not pursue further education. In 2018, he moved to Parsvnath Pratibha Society in Moradabad and later entered politics.

Anuj Chaudhary with friend Puneet Chaudhary of Sambhal at Parsvnath Pratibha Society, Moradabad on August 10, 2023 at 6 pm Shot dead outside his apartment while taking a walk; he used to live in Apartment Nos. 401 and 402 of Parsvnath Pratibha Society T-7 Tower. Three men came on bicycles and shot him and his friend. Within 20 seconds, Anuj was shot four times in the head, back and shoulder, and his friend also suffered gunshot wounds. He was taken to a private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. In an interview with the media, Anuj’s family said that Anuj was married to Prabhakar Singh, the husband of Santosh Devi, the head of Asmoli block, and the son of Santosh, a resident of Hajibera. Aniket, Amit Chaudhry, a resident of Bhawalpur Wasli, and Pushpendra of Sambal were murdered due to political rivalry. Therefore, they lodged an FIR against all of them at Majhola police station.
Anuj reportedly defeated Pushpendra in the Panchayat elections and animosity developed between the two. Police investigation revealed that the murderers entered the association through Gate No. 2 20 minutes before the murder. Guards Manak Singh and Deepak neither stopped them nor registered their details. They left the association through Gate No. 1. Guard Subhash Chandra Sharma was there, Didn’t stop them.
