Anurag Kashyap

Anurag Kashyap is a famous Indian film producer. He is the recipient of several National Awards and Filmfare Awards. Kashyap started his career as a co-writer on Ram Gopal Verma’s crime drama Satya (1998) before moving on from Dev.D (2009) ) achieved a breakthrough. Kashyap watched Taxi Driver at Shivam Nair’s house and was mesmerized by the film. In 1997, he wrote the script for Hansal Mehta’s first film Jayate, which failed to be released in theaters. In 1998, actor Manoj Bajpayee proposed a film to director Ram Gopal Verma.
