Anusree Nair was born on Wednesday, October 24, 1990 (age 33; as of 2023) in Kamukumchery village, Pattanapuram, Kollam district, Kerala, India. She completed her schooling from Indira Gandhi Memorial Vocational High School, Manjakkara, Kollon and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics. Anusree impressed veteran director Lal Jose, who was then judging the reality show Vivel Active Fair Big Break, in which she was a contestant. She played the role of “Kalamandalam Rajasree” in Lal Jose’s Malayalam romance drama “Diamond Necklace”, released in 2012, starring Fahadh Faasil. Debut in Malayalam film industry. In 2013, she played the role of ‘Sreelakshmi’ in Salam Bappu’s Malayalam thriller Red Wine, starring Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil and Asif Ali.
