Anya Rangaswami was born in 1989 (32 years old in 2021) in Pune, Maharashtra. She did her graduation in Mass Communication from Jai Hind College, Maharashtra in 2006-2007. In 2009, she studied Design and Visual Communication at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia, on an exchange scholarship for one semester. From 2007 to 2011, she did her Postgraduate Diploma in Graphic Design from the National Institute of Design, Gujarat.

On December 11, 2020, she got engaged to Indian stand-up comedian Danish Sait. In an interview, Danish Sait shared how he met Anya. He said,
I was looking for a graphic designer for my website and I met her. We talked for a while and hung out for a while. Everyone around us expected this. I like her because she is a crazy person who makes me happy. In fact, she also shoots a lot of my videos. When we came back from a vacation in Dubai recently, my grandmother asked when we were going to get married. That was the catalyst that led to my proposal. ”
In 2020, Danish proposed to Anya, and Anya said yes immediately. In an interview, Danish talked about the proposal. He said,
I knew Anya loved my pet cat, Red. So I had him hold a small bag with a box inside that contained a note proposing to her. Everything was ready and Anya walked right past Red without even noticing it. I had to nudge her slightly to look at him, and then she spotted the box. She said yes, and our mother, a few of our friends, and my sister all knew about it.”
The couple got married at the court on June 9, 2021 and exchanged rings in a private ceremony in the presence of 10-15 relatives on June 10, 2021. Danesh posted their wedding photos on his Instagram account. Many Indian celebrities including Anushka Sharma, Diya Mirza and Sunita Kapoor left congratulatory comments under the photos.

In 2010, she worked as a design intern at Dev Kabir Malik Design in Delhi. In May 2011, she started working as a project intern at Ray+Keshavan- The Brand Union in Bangalore and was subsequently promoted to assistant designer in the same company. Everyone knew the garbage problem was big, but the clean-up brings you face to face with the sheer volume of garbage.”
