Anya Shrubsole was born on December 7, 1991 in Bath, Somerset, England, United Kingdom. She is now 30 years old. Anya played for England from 2008 to 2022 and previously played domestic cricket for Somerset Women’s Cricket Team, Western Storm and Perth Scorchers.

Anya made her debut for England in 2008 and was the man of the match in the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup final. Anya’s first international match in the 2007 season gave her the best bowling career in women’s A cricket. With Somerset Women’s Cricket Team defending a score of 206, she opened the bowling for her county and claimed 7 wickets.

Anya made her ODI (One Day International) debut against South Africa on 14 August 2008. Anya won the Most Promising Young Cricketer award at the end of the 2008 season and was called up to the England squad for the 2009 Women’s Cricket World Cup.

In February 2022, Shrubsole was named in the England squad for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand, and a month after the World Cup ended, Anya announced her retirement from international cricket.
