KCET option for the 2nd round
KCET 2nd Round Option Entry 2023: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the option entry window tomorrow: 10 September 2023. Candidates who have secured a seat in KCET Round 2 allotment results must submit their college and course preferences before the deadline. They can visit the official website: kea.kar.nic.in to fill their preferences.
According to a notification issued by KEA, “if a candidate fails to exercise any of the four elections within the stipulated date and time, then the seat allotted to such candidate shall be cancelled.” Candidates will have four choices for the exercise according to their choice of filling options.

Candidates who wish to take admission under UGCET 2023 must enter their college and course preferences by following the steps below:

Step 2: On the home page, click on the available KCET 2nd Round Option Entry 2023 link
Step 3: Submit CET number and apply
Step 5: Fill in your desired college and course choices from the drop down menu
Step 6: Review all the details and submit the KCET selection form
UGCET 2023: Important Note Regarding KCET 2023 Extended Second Round
Please check the details given below carefully:
- Since more Engineering/Architecture/Agriculture/Veterinary etc. seats are likely to be included in the second extended round, candidates may have an opportunity to upgrade their seats in the second extended round.
- Therefore, if they select CHOICE-2 for the seat allotted in the second round, there will be an opportunity to improve their seat in the second extended round.
- The candidate is left to carefully select the appropriate CHOICE for the post allotted in the second round. Candidates are advised to take wise decisions.
