Aqua Teen Hunger Force Spinoff Clip Shows Master Shake as a Mall Cop

Adult Swim releases a clip from the new Aqua Teen Hunger Force series, called AquaDonk Side Pieces, which shows Master Shake as a mall cop.

The first look at the new Aqua Teen Hunger Force spinoff, AquaDonk Side Pieces, shows Master Shake as a mall cop. Created by Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro, ATHF is a Space Ghost Coast to Coast offshoot. Following the bizarre misadventures of Frylock, Meatwad, and Master Shake, the adult animated series ran for 11 seasons on Adult Swim. The over-the-top antics of the titular trio of fast-food characters solidified Aqua Teen Hunger Force as a cult classic and spawned a feature film released in 2007. In May 2021, Adult Swim revealed the continuation series AquaDonk Side Pieces was in the works.

Now, years after Aqua Teen Hunger Force signed off, Frylock, Meatwad, and Master Shake are back in action. Adult Swim released a teaser for AquaDonk Side Pieces, which will debut in 2022. Set at the Powerpuff Mall, the clip shows Master Shake and Carl (who steals change from the fountain) as mall security guards. Taking a break, the duo check out the Breakie B breakdancing robot. However, it becomes clear dancing is still forbidden when the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past makes an abrupt entrance. Check out the teaser below:

Those who enjoyed ATHF have a slew of fresh content to look forward to. In addition to the new digital shorts, HBO Max announced the return of Adult Swim’s most popular animated series and announced that new Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Venture Bros., and Metalocalypse feature films will be released on the streaming service.  For now, it appears AquaDonk Side Pieces will unveil the next chapter in the obscure daily lives of Frylock, Meatwad, and Master Shake.
