Ariana Grande Announces First New Solo Music in 3 Years with Upcoming Single ‘Yes, And?’

Ariana Grande is back!

The pop superstar, 30, has announced that she will release her first new solo music in three years with her upcoming single — titled “Yes, And?” — which is scheduled for release on January 12.

Grande revealed the song news on Instagram on Sunday. “yes, and? ♡ 1.12,” the singer captioned a photo of herself wearing red lipstick, which appears to be artwork for a soon-to-be-released project.

The musician, who also shared a save link and news of a physical CD on her Sweetener Instagram page, announced her latest studio album Positions 2020. The deluxe version of the album was released in January 2021.

Back in August, Grande celebrated the 10th anniversary of her debut album Sincerely yours with the reissue of the album with new live recordings.

Grande’s focus in recent years has been on her REM Beauty brand and her role in the upcoming film adaptation Wickedin which she plays Glinda the Good Witch.

In December, the singer-songwriter expressed her overall gratitude for 2023, which she described as “one of the most transformative, challenging, yet happiest and most special years of my life.”

“I have never felt more at the mercy and acceptance of what life wants to teach me. I have never felt more fulfilled or present in my work, being able to appreciate every moment,” she wrote. “I gave everything I could give of my heart and myself to the projects I was lucky enough to be a part of and learned so much from every brilliant, beautiful soul I had the privilege to create art with and cross paths with so closely,” she wrote.

Grande also updated fans on the process behind her seventh studio album last month, sharing a photo on Instagram that included a clip of her napping on a couch in the studio. In the clip, Grande curled up as a collaborator asked her about her mindset during “almost the last day of this album.”

As she explained at the time, she was “so tired, but so happy and grateful.”

In the post itself, Grande tagged her new manager Brandon Creed and several musical collaborators, including producer Ilya Salmanzadeh, who previously worked with her on songs like “No Tears Left to Cry,” “Problem” and “Side to Side.” . ”
