The pop superstar, 30, is preparing to release her upcoming new album Eternal sunshineshe shared an update for fans on Monday to manage their expectations for this release cycle.
While the Grammy winner usually releases a string of tracks before her albums drop, she revealed in a message posted to her Instagram Story that she won’t be dropping more advanced singles this time around before the LP drops in its entirety on March 8. .
“My love,” the hitmaker began, “we are separated by a little over a month Eternal sunshine and I think it’s impossible to articulate how grateful I am for your love, support and excitement!”

“I wanted to say… as hard as it is to resist the urge to share another song or single with you all as soon as possible, I’d really like you to experience the album in its entirety this time,” Grande said.
The “thank u next” artist clarified that she will “of course” release individual songs as singles after the record’s release, but explained that she doesn’t want to release any other than “Yes, And?”, which she dropped in January. She wrote: “…waiting a little longer to be able to listen to the end first is my ideal way for you all to experience this work.”
“thank you for trusting my vision and plan!” the Sweetener continued the artist. “You’ve been waiting so long for new music from me and I’m so grateful for your patience! I look forward to enjoying each new era with all of you, and I honestly can’t wait for it to be yours!”
She concluded: “She will be (and already is) so special. I’m so excited for everything to come. More than ever.”
Grande also said that instead of advanced songs, she has “a little surprise or two” coming for fans ahead Eternal sunshinerelease in early March.

Shortly after “Yes, and?” is out, Grande has confirmed that her upcoming album is a follow-up to 2020’s positions, on which she collaborated with famous pop producer Max Martin, was on the way. In mid-January, she confirmed the project’s March 8 release date and announced its title with an Instagram post that included the album’s cover art, which features a blurry close-up shot of her face with red lips.

In another announcement of the upcoming record posted on Instagram, the “7 Rings” singer shared her take on the effort, explaining that she sees some of the songs as “really vulnerable.”
The pop star shared a throwback video that appears to feature footage from sometime last year of her previewing then-unreleased tracks to members of her record label, Republic Records.
“I’m nervous! I wanted to share with you that this is kind of a concept album because they’re all different, amplified parts of the same story of the same experience,” the star of the upcoming album Wicked the movie said in the clip. “I’m, like, weirdly emotional.”
She told her team that on the album, she’s “playing a role that people sometimes expect me to play and having fun doing it.
“And everything else is kind of very vulnerable,” added the musician.
