Ariana Madix Is Feeling ‘a Lot of Pressure’ After Carrie Ann Inaba Declared Her a DWTS Front-Runner (Exclusive)

Madix said she and partner Pasha Pashkov hope to stay at the top of the rankings by “working hard, staying focused, keeping our eyes on our paper and just doing the best version of ourselves that we can.”

During last week’s Monster Night, Madix performed an Argentine tango to Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy.” After the dance, Inaba, 55, told Madix: “I think you’ve got what it takes to win it… you’ve got something spectacular,” while Derek Hough praised the performance, calling it “so beautiful” and celebrating her “flawless” execution of dance.

As a result, Bruno Tonioli ended up giving Madix his first 10 of the season, which also marked Pashkov’s first 10 as a show pro.

After the exciting moment, Madix told PEOPLE what she appreciates about receiving feedback from the judges.

“We work so hard every day and there’s something about that hard work that’s so tangible when you feel like you’ve put in the effort and then people see it,” she said. “You get a good result, you have good feedback. And so that feeling, it’s a sense of accomplishment that I can’t really describe. It’s great.”

Pashkov also celebrated the couple’s success on Instagram with a performance video.
