Speaking to fans in a video shot from the show’s setting, Ralf said: “So I had to unravel the little mystery of Death in Paradise.

“After I posted the video the other day, there was a lot of speculation: ‘Why is Neville in the cell? Could this be a spoiler?’ Let me explain.

“This is where the cast usually sits,” he continued, before panning the camera around the room filled with production equipment and makeup bags.

“So we’re sitting here in between shots. We have fans trying to cool us down and stop us from breaking a sweat so the makeup doesn’t have to be that hard.”

Filming himself leaving the room, Ralf continued: “This is the police station and this is the cell,” he said, while showing fans a view of the cells. “The cells are right next to the station where we filmed, much cooler and have beds!

“But when we were filming at the police station, this was my little spot,” he said, pointing to the single bed in the cell, where there was a charging phone and several empty packets of potato chips.
