Ariana Madix Rewears Version of Her Scandoval ‘Revenge Dress’ for Fiery ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Debut 

Ariana Madix breathes new life into her famous revenge look.

Back in April, the Bravo star, 38, made headlines after filming the movie Vanderpump Rules reunion — which followed a cheating scandal (dubbed “Scandoval”) involving her, her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval and their co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss — in a fiery outfit that the internet was quick to call her “revenge dress” moment “.

For her Dancing with the stars season 32 debut on Monday, Madix decided to nod to the moment and wear a version of the same look.

The new outfit was just as hot and stripped down as the original $995 crop top and $795 pencil skirt (both from MONOT), but clearly got the thong treatment because it was covered in sequins and featured a thigh-high slit.

Madix took to the dance floor alongside her partner Pasha Pashkova to perform a sassy tango to Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself (Riddler Remix)” which earned the pair a score of 21/30.

In her opening package, Madix admitted that her life has been a “rollercoaster” over the past year, but, taking the show into consideration, she wanted the world to know that “scandal doesn’t define me.”

“Feeling like you’ve been a joke with your partner of nine years and your best friend is devastating,” she said. “But I want to show other women that none of that has to hold you back.”

“This will be a more confident, fun and lively version of me. Because I don’t need anyone else. I love myself.”

Judges Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba gave Madix high praise and the latter encouraged her further. “As a woman, cheaters are shit, but you just showed everyone watching how you handle a cheater!” Inaba said to Madix.

Ahead of her first performance, Madix said Party tonight that she hoped to spot her colleagues in the audience. “I’m looking forward to seeing my girls and supporting them,” she told the newspaper.

Scheana Shay was the first of her co-stars and friends to cheer her on in the crowd, as was Madix’s new boyfriend Daniel Wai.

Madix hopes he can stay long enough to take daughter Shay and friend Lala Kent to see an episode of the show dedicated to Disney tunes.

“I really hope I can make it to Disney Week, because I really want Summer and Ocean to be able to come watch and see all the Disney dancers,” she said of Shay and Kent’s children.
