However, this marriage only lasted a short period of time. In 2014, he married Arijit’s childhood sweetheart Koyel Roy Singh. Arijit Singh is the second husband of Koyal Roy Singh.

Profession
In 2005, he participated in the reality show “Fame Gurukul” on the advice of his mentor Rajendra Prasad Hazari, which was the first stepping stone in his career. However, he ultimately lost the race and finished sixth. After that, he participated in another reality show 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil and won the competition. He invested all the winnings from the show to build his own studio. There he worked as a freelance artist composing music for TV channels, commercials and radio stations. He has also freelanced for music directors such as Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Vishal-Shekhar, Mithoon, Monty Sharma and Pritam. He started by singing in Telugu films. His first song was the song “Neeve Na Neeve Na” from the movie “Kedi” (2010).
He made his Bollywood debut with the song “Phir Mohabbat” in “Murder 2”. The song was recorded in 2009 but released in 2011. In the same year, the song “Raabta” was released, which had four versions in the film Agent Vinod (2018); one of them was Arijit’s solo version. He has worked with renowned music directors like Sajid-Wajid and AR Rahman and duets with singers like Shreya Ghoshal and Alka Yagnik.
dispute
- In September 2013, he was arrested for assaulting a reporter when he asked about his divorce from his wife, Coryell. Arijit Singh stated that he only attacked the camera, not the photographer; because even when Arijit asked him to stop recording, he did not stop recording. The Behrampore CJM court later granted him bail.
- In May 2016, he published a letter asking Salman Khan to retain his (Arijit’s) version of “Jag Ghoomeya” from the film “Sultan”. However, he deleted the post a few hours later. The possible reason for the feud between the two seems to come from an incident at the 2014 Star Guild Awards Ceremony. Arijit was called on stage to receive the award. Salman had just finished performing “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” and was awarding Arijit the award. Salman might have felt insulted when Arijit came on stage and said “Aap logo ne toh sula diya”.
