Please be advised that Lombardo police have arrested a person in connection with an armed robbery in Lombardo. An armed robbery took place in the western suburbs of Chicago on Wednesday afternoon. Therefore, the Lombard police aggressively and intensively hunted down the suspects in connection with this robbery incident. The Lombard Police Department claimed that their officers, along with other agencies in their jurisdiction, pursued the suspects in the West Chicago armed robbery. The suspect was traveling in the vehicle St. Charles Road eastbound, but crashed near Westmore-Meyers Road. A person who lives nearby said, “My husband went out to take some trash to the curb and came back to say at least 15 police cars were flying down St. Charles Road.” Continue reading this article and find more information.
Lombard police detained one person, but the second suspect managed to escape from the scene. He is still on the run. Lombard police describe the fleeing suspect as a black man with dreadlocks. Police also described the wanted black man with dreadlocks as wearing black pants and a white shirt. Lombard police officers were also seen deployed and combing yards using drones. A police helicopter was also involved in the search for the armed robbery suspect. Sergio Olguin, a neighbor said, “I was walking my dog and I just went inside, I’m down here, I saw the whole thing, so I said, let’s go inside while I’m walking this dog.
