In May 2017, he started working as a research intern at an NGO called Chirag Foundation in Mumbai. After working there for about four months, he joined IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited, Mumbai as a project trainee. Nearly four months later, he started working as a cybersecurity intern at Lucideus, a private company in New Delhi. At the same time, he served as a staff writer for the Daily Californian. In 2019, he joined Accenture as a software engineer intern in Mumbai. Three months later, he was a reader in EE16A: Designing Information Devices and Systems (part-time) at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Engineering. From August 2019 to December 2019, Arth served as a project intern at Berkeley’s social welfare activity “Smart Village Movement.” He then worked at Cal Hacks, developing an application that could detect American Sign Language (ASL) gestures in a live video stream and translate them into English text in real time. After working there for nearly eight months, he took a position as a program director at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. From February 2020 to May 2020, Arth joined UCSF Medical Center in the San Francisco Bay Area as an undergraduate researcher. There, he trained semantic segmentation models on the Stanford EchoNet dynamic dataset. From August 2020 to December 2020, he joined the Fung Fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley, as a Healthcare and Technology Fellow. In May 2020, he joined FakeNetAI, a private company in Berkeley, as a deep learning engineering intern and worked there for nearly a year. In 2021, Arth served as an undergraduate researcher at the Berkeley RISE Lab and the UC Berkeley School of Engineering. He began working as a software engineer intern at DeepMap, Inc., a private company in Palo Alto, California, in June 2021. Arth joined Net Impact Berkeley, California in 2019 as an associate consultant. There he was promoted to project manager in 2020.
