- In an interview with the media, Sudheesh revealed that he learned acting from his father, who started performing in plays and solo singing when he was very young. When Sudheesh won a state-level award for his solo performance, his father encouraged him to apply for film auditions after seeing an advertisement in the newspaper. Sudshish said,
I was fourteen years old that year. I was going to an interview with my father. They were looking for a face to portray actor Ashoka Chetan’s childhood. Mr. Addo is looking for a face that is not a replica of Ashoka Chetan. That’s how I became Ajay Kumar in the 1987 film Anantaram. “
