Asha Ajith Ias Career
In place of K.P. Karthikeyan and Raja Gopal Sunkara, the Tamil Nadu government appointed M. Prathap and Simranjeet Singh Kahlon as the Commissioners of the Coimbatore and Madurai Municipal Corporations, respectively, on Sunday. It appointed new Commissioners for six Municipal Corporations as part of an IAS officer swap.
Mr. Sunkara is slated to succeed Mr. Karthikeyan as the executive director of the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, while Mr. Karthikeyan has been appointed as member-secretary of the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority.
R. Vaithinathan will assume leadership as the Commissioner of the Tiruchi Municipal Corporation, and V. Sivakrishnamurthy will serve as the Commissioner of the Tirunelveli Municipal Corporation, according a government order issued by Chief Secretary V. Irai Anbu.
The Commissioners of the Nagercoil and Avadi Municipal Corporations will be Anand Mohan and K. Tharpagaraj, respectively. Ranjeet Singh has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Fisheries, and Fishermen Welfare, and B. Vishnu Chandran has been appointed as the Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration.
M. Vijayalakshmi and C.A. Rishab have been appointed Additional Secretaries and Sub-Collectors, respectively, of the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Tirunelveli. S.P. Kaarthika has been appointed as the additional director of social welfare and women’s empowerment, while A. Sankar has been appointed as the additional registrar of cooperative societies.
S. Balachander is expected to start working as the Additional Collector (Development) and Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Salem, while Asha Ajith is expected to be named as the Executive Director of Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau (GUIDANCE).
Madurai District Rural Development Agency will select S. Saravanan as Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer, while Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project will name M. Aruna as Chief Operating Officer. The Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board is poised to promote M. Thangavel to joint managing director.
Monika Rana will assume full responsibility for the additional position of managing director of INDCOSERVE in Udhagamandalam, which was formerly held by senior executive Supriya Sahu. The government also ordered K. Shanthi to assume complete extra responsibility for the position of Managing Director at SAGOSERVE in Salem, which had previously been handled in addition by C. Kathiravan.
