Career
- Agar relocated to Western Australia for the 2012–13 season after failing to be selected for Victoria’s senior team. There, he was given a contract with the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA).
- He replaced the injured Michael Beer as the team’s spinner in a Sheffield Shield match against New South Wales in January 2013, marking his first-class debut for Western Australia.
- Early the following month, in his second Shield game, he hit 53 runs in Western Australia’s second innings, partnering with Michael Hogan (43*) for a state Sheffield Shield record 94 runs for the tenth wicket.
- Late in January, Agar made his List A debut for Western Australia in the Ryobi One-Day Cup for limited overs. In his two matches, he grabbed five wickets, with his best statistics coming against Queensland (3/51).
- In January 2013, Agar made his Sheffield Shield debut. He was called up the following month for Australia’s 2012–13 tour of India, where he participated in one tour game.
