Later, he played supporting roles in several Telugu films produced by Shanmugam Productions. He appeared in the film Sreemanta, which also starred Sonu Sood.

Operating through entities like Dreams Career and Navabharath Education and Research Foundation, they duped numerous students by offering fake degree certificates. The duo forged fake certificates from BR Ambedkar University, Agra, Chhattisgarh University, CV Raman University, Bilaspur, SSCL Board of Karnataka, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, U.P. Certificates from prestigious institutions such as the Bharathiya Shiksha Parishad and Jamia Millia of Sikkim University. , Central Board of Open School Education, Meerut, Vinayaka Mission, New Delhi University, STED Council, Thiruvananthapuram, EIILM University of UP and CMJ University of UP. They also provided fake immigration certificates. The scheme has been running for ten years and the fees they charge range from Rs. 30,000 Rs 1,20,000 based on course. Police arrested them from Dream Career office in Bendoorwell and Navabharat Educational Research Foundation office at MG Road. The universities and boards with which they claim affiliation deny any connection with them. Police seized 70 certificates, 2 computers, Rs 100. 1 lakh, credit cards, 8 mobile phones, two laptops, a scanner and a color printer. A case was registered under Sections 468, 471 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
