Aubrey Plaza's Agatha All Along Costars Recall the Hilarious Prank She Pulled Off on the Show's Set

While speaking exclusively with PEOPLE at the Disney Upfront event in New York on May 14, Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke and Patti LuPone revealed that Parks and recreation The alum, 39, was quite the prankster on set.

After working long days on the set of the upcoming Disney+ original, LuPone, 75, requested an “Equity cot” — or small bed — where the cast could rest between takes. Because filming took place in a tent set up in a sound stage, the trio found they often didn’t have time to go back and rest in their trailers during breaks.

“One day, Aubrey planned with the prop guys to put a bucket of champagne and rose petals on the floor of the tent,” Locke, 20, said before LuPone corrected him, “[next] to the Equity cot.”

“That was great,” Hahn, 50, said of Plaza’s joke. “[It was] leads to the crib.”

“We all used it. We didn’t get back to our trailers. We were in a tent in a soundstage with an Equity crib. And you’d just hear the cackling outside,” she continued as LuPone added that they would “rotate lying down.”

“We wouldn’t all be on the bed at once,” Hahn explained.

Agatha all together — who starring Hahn, Locke, LuPone, Plaza and Sasheer Zamata — is a spinoff of Marvel’s critically acclaimed series, WandaVision, which aired in 2021.

WandaVision followed the events that took place in 2019 Avengers: Endgame and saw Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) hiding out and trying to live a normal life in suburban New Jersey. But the couple soon suspects that something is wrong in their idyllic neighborhood.

In the series, Hahn’s character Agnes was Wanda and Vision’s neighbor. She is later revealed to be a powerful witch named Agatha, recognized by Marvel fans from her appearances in various Marvel comics.

Agatha All together will begin after the events of WandaVision and will focus on Agatha’s quest to regain her powers after being rendered powerless by Wanda and the unlikely allies she makes along the way.

Agatha All together will premiere its first two episodes on Disney+ on September 18.
