In May 2022, Audrina Patridge published her book, Choices, detailing her time on The Hills and her marriage to ex-husband Corey Bohan. She also appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast on July 20, 2022 to discuss the subject of her new book. Patridge rose to stardom after appearing on the reality show The Hills alongside her celebrity friends, Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag. She first dated Justin Bobby, but the relationship failed, and she started dating Bohan after meeting him through mutual acquaintances.
She mentioned in the program that her friendship with Bohan developed naturally. When fans watched The Hills spinoff, Audrina, they had a front row ticket to their love lives. They had a daughter, Kirra Max, in June 2016 and got married in November of the same year. However, after Bohan’s “alleged violent outburst,” the reality star filed for divorce a year later.

Patridge told host Alex Cooper that she fell in love with Bohan because he was different from the LA men she had dated before. She felt everything was fine until she received tweets from fans who claimed to have witnessed the former motocross rider kissing another woman at the club. Patridge stood up to him, but Bohan flipped the script, making her think it was her fault and berating her for listening to outsiders. She trusted him and turned off all the outside noise, but that didn’t help their relationship.
Bohan always accused her of infidelity, went through her text messages and asked her to remove social networks. The constant uncertainty resulted in quarrels and Bohan’s disappearance for several days. After that, Bohan will return and they will be reunited, but their happiness will only last for three months before another fierce conflict.

Patridge felt lonely in those moments because she hid things from her family and friends out of shame. She did not want others to know that she was suffering, so she learned to be brave in public. When the reality star and her ex-husband found out they were pregnant, he was overjoyed, and Patridge took it as a good sign in their relationship.
He was fantastic and after their daughter was born, she witnessed how thrilled he was to become a dad. Patridge and Bohan married five months after the birth of their daughter. But as much as the reality star hoped her marriage would work out, things took a turn for the worse. Bohan pushed her while she was still carrying her child one night during an argument. She realized that she had to leave at that moment. So she called the police and everything between her and her ex-husband came to an end.
