Austen Kroll and Olivia Flowers' Relationship Timeline

Southern charm star Austen Kroll has introduced viewers to several new relationships over the years.

The reality TV vet is never afraid to share the details of his on-screen romances, whether it’s a love triangle or a love affair, and his relationship with Olivia Flowers was no exception.

The close relationship between Kroll and Flowers sparked rumors of a new romance when the eighth season premiered — and the drama quickly began to heat up when Kroll’s ex-girlfriends started showing up. The Pillows and beer The podcast host first caught Flowers’ attention when he DMed her, though she was aware of Kroll’s previous drama with Southern charmis Madison Lecroy and Summer houseLindsay Hubbard and Ciara Miller.

And while Flowers said she intended to “at least be cordial” with Kroll’s ex-girlfriend, the two ended up getting into a verbal altercation during the shoot, with Flowers storming off and flipping Lecroy.

By the time they reunite in season 8, Kroll and Flowers have decided to simply remain friends.

In December 2021, Kroll, founder of Kings Calling Brewing Company, released two new flavors of Trop Hop, and Flowers attended the launch to support his new business venture.

Shep Rose posted a group photo of Kroll and Flowers arm in arm along with him and ex-girlfriend Taylor Ann Green from the event.

February 16, 2022: Austen Kroll and Olivia Flowers hang out with co-star Kathryn Dennis

On February 16, 2022, Kathryn Dennis posted a selfie with Kroll and Flowers on Instagram with the caption, “Back in a Charleston Hi.”

In the comments, fans immediately began to speculate about Kroll and Flowers’ relationship.

May 2022: Austen Kroll and Olivia Flowers travel to California with Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green

The couple joined Rose and Green on a trip to California in May 2022. Rose posted several snaps from the vacation on Instagram, including several photos of Flowers and Kroll enjoying glasses of wine at a vineyard.

May 16, 2022: Olivia Flowers joins Austen Kroll for season eight Southern charm

On May 16, 2022, Flowers announced that she was officially a new cast member Southern charm and shared a photo of the Season 8 cast on Instagram.

Along with the photo, she wrote: “I’m sure I’m enchanted 💫.”

June 23, 2022: Austen Kroll and Olivia Flowers go on their first date Southern charm

For his 30th birthday, Dennis threw a 1930s ‘Great Katsby’ themed party, attended by Kroll, Flowers, Rose, Green and their co-stars Southern charm actors Lev Bonaparte, Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo.

Kroll introduced a new face to the group, Flowers, who returned to South Carolina during the pandemic. The two were enjoying a relaxed, stress-free night together until Kroll’s ex Lecroy showed up. While Kroll claimed that her presence didn’t bother him, Flowers was visibly angry.

“We shouldn’t go on our first date and talk about the housewife,” she said to the cameras.

June 25, 2022: Madison Lecroy slammed Olivia Flowers on Instagram

On June 25, 2022, Lecroy posted on Instagram and seemingly threw some shade at Flowers after she called Lecroy a “housewife” during the first episode of Season 8.

Lecroy captioned the solo shot, “I’d rather be a homegirl than a homegirl 😎.”

In an interview with ETFlowers revealed that she did not respond to the dig and that “[Lecroy] I continued with that, I went from homeless to trust fund trash, which I thought was impressive because who goes from homeless to trust fund trash in one day, but no, I didn’t, I just gave her my time and relevance.”

July 21, 2022: Austen Kroll and Olivia Flowers define their relationship on Southern charm

After hanging out at large gatherings and double dates, Kroll and Flowers discussed their relationship status during one episode Southern charm which was broadcast on July 21. After the couple decided they weren’t exclusive, Kroll told Flowers she should continue dating other people.

August 4, 2022 Flowers appeared on Watch what’s happening live episodes together with colleague Dennis. During the “Can you defend it?” Cohen compared the Kroll to the Honda Civic.

She snapped, “Austen is a Range Rover. He’s not a Honda.”

When Cohen asked if he thought Kroll had a right to be upset that Lecroy hadn’t told him she was engaged, The flowers answered“If she’s completely out of his life and she’s not always trying to control him and come back and text him late at night then of course I’d think it’s stupid, but she’s always trying to be a known presence in his life so I’m sure she that had something to do with it.”

Cohen asked, “She’s texting him late at night?”

“Yeah, like the other night she sent him one and it was like ‘I don’t want to fight anymore’ and… okay, you’re the only one on your shadow tour. She had nice things to say about me on that tour,” Flowers explained.

August 2022: Olivia Flowers says she and Austen Kroll share “the same sense of humor”

That same month, Flowers spoke with ET about her experience on the Bravo show and was honest about her romance with Kroll.

When asked if it could define their relationship, she said: “You’ll have to tune in and watch the rest of the season to find out, but we’re in a very good place.”

The next burning question he asked was whether she saw a future with Kroll, to which Flowers replied, “I wouldn’t be … in the relationship with him that I was if I couldn’t.”

She then shared that Kroll “makes her laugh all the time” and that they both have “the same sense of humor.”

August 11, 2022: Olivia Flowers brings the date to Southern charm dog wedding

Patricia Altschul’s dog Peaches and Rose’s dog Little Craig were married in November 2021 with a lavish puppy wedding ceremony. In the episode Southern charm that aired on August 11, viewers watched as several cast members attended the dogs’ wedding alongside their loved ones, including Conover and his girlfriend, Paige Desorbo. Flowers also came to the event with a plus one – her blind date Zach.

Kroll reacted in surprise, asking Green, “Who is that? Who is that?” After she replied, “That’s Olivia’s date,” Kroll remarked, “He’s a handsome man.”

Kroll then spent the after party hanging out with his former lover, Miller.

August 25, 2022: Austen Kroll and Olivia Flowers join the cast Southern charm on a trip to Auldbrass Plantation

The cast Southern charm went to Auldbrass Plantation to film Season 8, which later aired on August 25, 2022.

In the episode, Flowers struggled with her feelings for Kroll after hearing from Olindo and Bonaparte that he was unhappy about the wedding date situation and reacted by spending the evening with his ex, Miller. Shocked by the news, Flowers kept her distance from Kroll until he pulled her aside for a chat.

Kroll shared that he was really “freaked out” by the wedding and that it was his fault that he said they should “work things out” and “you did exactly what I told you to do.”

He continued, saying he didn’t want to see her with anyone else, to which she replied, “Really?” and questioned him about what he did after the wedding.

Kroll told Flowers that he left with other friends, specifically Miller, but Flowers quickly jumped in and said, “Did you think I didn’t know you and Ciara were hanging out?”

Stuttering, Kroll told her, “It was a great time to reconnect.” In response, she called him “full of shit.”

Despite spending time with Miller, Kroll told Flowers he thought about her a lot, saying, “I don’t want to date other people, I want to date you.”

Flowers revealed that the feelings were mutual and that they should only communicate with each other in the future.

September 1, 2022: Olivia Flowers celebrates Friendsgiving at Aunt Austen Kroll’s house on Southern charm

On November 24, 2021, Southern charm gathered around the table to celebrate Thanksgiving. Viewers saw the event during an episode that aired on September 1, 2022, when Kroll hosted Friendsgiving with colleagues at his aunt’s house.

Rose shared a photo of the group enjoying the holiday season with full bellies and sunset views. He wrote: “Embrace the sunsets. Don’t fight the feelings. Good friends, great combos. #friendsgiving.”

The Southern charm the actors escaped from Charleston for a trip to the King and Prince resort on the island of St. Simons in Georgia on December 4, 2021, which later aired on September 22, 2022.

During the episode, Flowers and Kroll were seen packing a PDA and implied that they were more than friends. After they left the restaurant and returned to their vacation home, Flowers sat between Conover and Kroll, and cameras caught Flowers pulling Kroll to pet his cheek. Later that evening, Kroll picked Flowers up in his arms and spun her around the room as the two shared a kiss in front of the group. The next day, they spent the day with the crew at the shrimp, where they were seen cuddling and engaging in a friendly beer competition.

October 6, 2022: Austen Kroll and Olivia Flowers are “not” in a relationship

During the first part of the season 8 reunion Southern charmKroll and Flowers clarified their relationship status after being questioned by Kroll’s ex LeCroy.

Flowers confirmed the pair were “not in a relationship,” before Kroll added, “We both talked and we said, ‘I don’t ever want to lose you in the capacity of seeing our friends…’ or in so me and Madison we don’t talk.”

However, the reality stars did confirm that their relationship became romantic some time after filming ended. But the timing was never right to get things done.

“When you came to me and you wanted to be 100 percent,” Flowers instructed Kroll, “I was at a place where I was just mentally f—— because things were so complicated with you. I told you, ‘Right now I don’t see that here,’ [but] I guess I imagined we’d get there. You just said, ‘OK, yeah, we’ll be friends.'”

September 25, 2024: Olivia Flowers got engaged

Flowers and Alex Williams met at a wedding in 2023. After a year of dating, Williams popped the question in New York and Flowers said, “I do!” The proposal took place at the JW Marriott Essex House.

“Alex said, ‘Olivia Barbara Ellen Flowers. You are the girl of my dreams. You have become the love of my life. And I would like to ask you if you will marry me?’ ” she recalled to PEOPLE.
