Austin Butler Says He Loves Being the 'Fun Uncle' to Ashley Tisdale's Kids: 'I Feel So Honored'

Austin Butler is “so honored” to be a part of former actress Ashley Tisdale’s family life.

At the premiere of his new film in Los Angeles Cyclists on Monday, June 17, the 32-year-old actor said Hey! News that he is practically family for High school musical the actress (38) and her daughter Jupiter (3), who she shares with her husband Christopher French.

“I like being a funny uncle,” he said. “I play with toys and what not, and then I can go home at the end of the day.”

Butler starred with Tisdale in 2009 Aliens in the attic and in 2011 Sharpay’s fantastic adventure.

The Elvis star added that the actress, who is currently expecting baby no. 2 with husband Christopher French, “such a good mom,” adding, “I feel so honored to be a part of her life and to meet her children.”

Another former actress of Tisdale’s, Zac Efron, also opened up about her impressive mothering skills this month.

While walking the carpet in Los Angeles at the premiere of his new film A family affair, the actor shared his thoughts on his High school musical actresses Ashley Tisdale (38) and Vanessa Hudgens (35) who are pregnant at the same time.

“They’re going to be the best moms ever,” he said excitedly Access to Hollywood on the carpet. “Those girls, are you kidding me? Oh my God.”

He went on to hint at the reunion of both actresses and their families. “Yes, we will have fun family gatherings,” he added.
