While you’re waiting for your package to be delivered, you might see the message “Awaiting Carrier Pickup.” This shipping status update means that the seller is ready to ship your item, but the carrier (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx) has not yet come and picked it up. A tracking status of “Awaiting Carrier Pickup” means that a carrier (such as USPS or FedEx) has not yet picked up your package from the seller. Expect the carrier to pick up the package within 1-2 days and your package to be delivered within a few days.

  1. Step 1 Check your package tracking status regularly.

    It is quite normal for your package to sit on “Awaiting Carrier Pickup” for a few days, as busy shipping times and bad weather can delay the delivery to receive it. Stay up-to-date on your package’s progress by entering its tracking number on the USPS website, the UPS website, or the FedEx website.[4]
