Ayyappa P. Sharma’s father Pudipeddi Jogeswara Sarma (popularly known as PJ Sarma) is an Indian film dubbing artist, actor and writer who works mainly in the Telugu film industry. PJ Sarma has also worked in the Tamil and Kannada film industries. PJ Sarma died of heart disease on December 14, 2014 at the age of 81. His mother Krishna Jyothi Pudipeddi is an actress in Telugu and Kannada film industry. She is famous for her roles in the Kannada films Sri Krishna Garudi (1958) and Makkala Rajya (1960), sharing the screen space with the famous Kannada actor Dr. Rajkumar.

Ayyappa’s father PJ Sarma was born and brought up in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, and moved to Madras (now Chennai) in 1955 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Krishna Jyothi hails from Bagepalli, Karnataka. In an interview, Ayyappa’s brother Ravi Shankar said of his parents,
My father was a struggling actor but my mother was at the peak of her career and they fell in love and got married in 1960. She gave up her career at home. “
Ayyappa has two brothers, Pudipeddi Sai Kumar (commonly known as P. Sai Kumar) and Pudipeddi Ravi Shankar (commonly known as P. Ravi Shankar). Both of them are dubbing artists, actors, directors and writers in the Kannada, Telugu and Tamil film industries. Ayyappa has two sisters, Kamala Narayan and Priya Karthikeyan.

The film tells the story of a young man named Loki who seeks power and wealth in order to fulfill a promise made to his dying mother. As the story unfolds, Loki is assigned to assassinate Garuda, the heir to the Gold Fields of Coral. In the film, Vanaram is the commander and bodyguard of Garuda.
