Actress Ranjitha’s controversial video

In 2010, Tamil television channel Sun TV aired a video of Nithyananda in a hotel room with his follower, Tamil actress Ranjita. The video was allegedly morphed by Nithyananda and Ranjitha, who also accused Sun TV of extortion. The video was sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory in Bengaluru, which claimed that the people in the video were Nityananda and Ranjitha. On February 19, 2018, the Ramanagara Third Additional District Court started investigation into the case, but on May 16, 2018, they were released.
