On Monday, September 23 Bachelor The alum, 36, posted a series of slides on her Instagram and shared that she recently suffered a miscarriage. “I wasn’t sure how to share this. But I knew I wanted to,” Grimaldi began.

“I knew I wanted to help other women feel less alone in their abortion journey. I know the shock, the pain, the confusion, the feeling of hopelessness and the awkward ‘when are you going to have another’ conversations all too well,” she wrote.

In her caption, Grimaldi took a moment to express why she waited to share her story.

“Almost one in four known pregnancies end in miscarriage, but it’s still not talked about enough. It took me time to recover emotionally and physically before I shared the news here,” she said.

“I’m happy to share my story with you, but the tears still fall and the sadness still comes from time to time. And that’s okay. 🤍 If you need someone to turn to, I’ll do my best to get back to them you in my DM, sending you love 💘.”

Grimaldi shares son Winston, 23 months, with husband Josh Wolfe. She married Wolfe in 2021, four years after she and BachelorNick Viall called off their five-month engagement.
