Bachelor in Paradise: Brayden Feels 'Cheap' and Used by Kat as Sam Carries a Heavy Burden in Her Gut

On Thursday’s episode, Sam Jeffries dealt with a health issue and Brayden Bowers claimed he was “tricked” when Kat Izzo went on a date with the new arrival

This week Bachelor in Paradiseanother day brought another new arrival.

This time, host Jesse Palmer welcomed Tanner Courtado from Charity Lawson’s season Bachelor to the beach and gave him a business card for a date.

Tanner (30) was first pulled by Jess Girod, and when complimented on her looks, she replied, “I was bloated today so I wore a one piece.”

Then Tanner talked to Kat Izzo, which worried Brayden Bowers. Brayden, 25, went even more crazy when Tanner decided to take Kat, 26, out on a date.

“I’m moving my fingers, my toes, my legs, everything at this point,” Brayden told his colleagues. “I really hope that I am the decision that she makes.”

Tanner and Kat went horseback riding and she told the cameras she was feeling “super giddy.” After that, they settled on the sand, sipped champagne and shared their first kiss.

“Today exceeded all expectations in every way,” Kat said in an interview. “Tanner is just someone I can see myself going out with.”

When Kat got back to the beach, she told Brayden about her “fun” date with Tanner.

“I had to listen to my gut at the end of the day and I just don’t know if I see my feelings growing between you and me anymore,” she told Brayden.

Brayden asked “what’s changed” since he gave her the rose. “I was just listening to my gut,” Kat said.

Brayden felt hurt. “I allowed myself to fantasize about a future outside of it and suddenly it’s like I don’t exist at all,” he said in front of the cameras.

Brayden told the other men that he thought he had been “played”.

Meanwhile, Kat’s friends Jess and Kylee Russell try to bring Kat back to earth after her out-of-this-world date.

“You have to be considerate of everyone’s emotions,” Kylee, 25, told Kat. “Brayden is, like, really, really upset.”

Jess explained that Brayden described Kat as “cold” to other people on the beach and said he thought it was “like a switch” when their relationship changed. Sensing that Brayden wasn’t getting her side of the story, Kat pulled him back to talk again.

“I don’t want my words to get twisted because you don’t fully hear what I’m saying,” she said.

“You want me not to feel the way I do?” Brayden asked.

Kat thought she had done everything she could to tell Brayden how she felt.

Still, “I feel hurt,” Brayden said. “I feel cheap. I feel like a dirty whore.”

PARADISE BABY?

Meanwhile, Will Urea tried to be cool as Rachel Recchia’s newcomer Tyler Norris Bachelor season went on a date with Mercedes Northup, whom Will (30) presented with a rose during the first rose ceremony.

When Mercedes, 25, returned from dinner and fireworks, she told Will that she needed to sleep before deciding who she wanted to move on with.

Sam Jeffries did not want to wait another day for her own “arrival”.

When Sam, 27, discovered she hadn’t had a bowel movement in nine days, Paradise the doctor informed her that if nothing changed by sunrise the next day, she would have to be taken to the hospital and give birth to a “poop”.

She informed Olivia Lewis and bartender Wells Adams about the situation. “Like Cinderella, but instead of a glass slipper, he’s a big goofball,” Wells, 39, said.

Sam then spoke to her relationship, Aaron Schwartzman, and informed him that she may have to leave Paradise if the problem persists.

“Will it be a boy or a girl?” Aaron S., 34, joked about the “poop baby.”

He also promised to give Sam “the best night of your damn life if you let me.” Aaron S. continued to bring black coffee, olive oil, taquitos, tacos, beans, and hot sauce for Sam to consume.

“Cheers for that— happening,” toasted Aaron S.

They also did squats and lunges around the sand in hopes of getting some movement in Sam’s digestive tract.

“I might call the pop baby Hope,” Aaron S. said on camera, “because if this f*cking thing gets out, there’s a possible hope that the relationship will deepen.”
