Bachelor Star Kelsey Anderson Says She and Fiancé Joey Graziadei Are 'Good' Despite Her 'Personal' Issues

Kelsey Anderson wants fans to know that everything is “good” between her and her fiance Joey Graziadei.

The bride-to-be, who got engaged Bachelor star of the series’ 28th season finale in March, gave a candid update about herself and her relationship in an Instagram Stories post on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

“I haven’t been on social media much the past few days due to personal reasons, but I hope everyone took advantage of their privilege to vote today or send their votes in the mail 💗,” Anderson wrote alongside a selfie of herself holding a glass of wine.

“and now we all cross our fingers and wait.. and maybe drink a glass of wine.. or a whole bottle,” her message continued.

Fans seemingly believed that Graziadei, who is currently competing in her 33rd season, made the comments Dancing with the starswhile she accompanied the post with a close-up photo in which she appears to be snapping her fingers.

“I don’t want y’all to get the wrong idea that Joey and I are good 💗,” Anderson captioned another photo.

Anderson was present during every week Dancing with the starswhere Graziadei teams up with Jenna Johnson.

After the season premiere, he shared with PEOPLE that he’s “so lucky to have a supportive fiancée.”

“I texted her right after I finished and said, ‘Did I make you proud?’ I just want her to be so happy with how I’m doing this season, but she also gives a lot to be here with me, and I know I’m gone a lot,” he told PEOPLE.

Anderson was quick to defend their romance after fans called out Graziadeia’s closeness with Johnson during their first dance in a candid TikTok, explaining that she understands it’s all part of their job.

“I’m so tired of everyone saying, ‘Kelsey is so strong, I couldn’t do this, I couldn’t watch this if I was Kelsey.’ Do we remember how Joey and I met? Bachelor. He dated 31 other women while he was dating me, and I won a Super Bowl ring,” she said.

Graziadei later discovered on Almost famous podcast that he wanted to head off any possible relationship rumors during his tenure on the reality dance competition by asking to be matched with “someone who has been in a successful and healthy relationship.”

“I didn’t want to make a fuss about this because I know sometimes that comes with the show and the territory,” he said.

Johnson is married to a colleague Dancing with the stars professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, with whom she welcomed her first child, Roma Valentin Chmerkovskiy, in January 2023.
