Van Gerwen praises ‘fantastic’ Littler
Michael van Gerwen has vowed to “get it” after losing the Bahrain Darts Masters final.
Speaking after the match, he told ITV4: “It’s never going to be a good week when I don’t win, but Luke had a fantastic performance.
“Everyone knows what they are capable of – let them grow, let them do their thing.
“I couldn’t produce what I produced in the previous games and you get punished and that’s the way sport works. Of course I’m disappointed, but you win some, you lose some.
– I’ll take care of him, don’t worry!
‘Words do not describe’ Littler
Littler’s girlfriend Eloise Milburn, 21, reacted to his Bahrain Darts Masters triumph.
Posting a photo of him holding the trophy on her Instagram story, she wrote: “Just wow! Come on in! I’m so proud beyond words!”
