Hannah Neeleman returns to the pageant stage.

Known online as Ballerina Farm, the Juilliard-educated dancer, entrepreneur and mother of eight left her family’s working farm in Utah to attend the Mrs. American in Las Vegas. Neeleman won the title in 2023, and will crown the new winner on Wednesday, August 28.

On Monday, August 26, the influencer shared some behind-the-scenes footage on Instagram Stories. For the day of the contestant interviews, Neeleman wore a chic sleeveless black dress with a bubble hem and a pleated skirt. She accessorized with black lounge shoes and, of course, her sparkly crown for the miss.

Neeleman also took her daughter Flora Jo along for the ride, carrying the 7-month-old baby in a front-facing carrier.

“Flora comes to work with mom,” she captioned one slide of herself wearing a “Mrs. American” belt draped over her baby carrier. The next slide shows Neeleman talking to the contestants while carrying her baby.

Last week, Neeleman reflected on her time competing in the Mrs. American 2023 – which she won while 20 weeks pregnant with Flora Jo.

“A night I will never forget. ✨🥹🫶🏼,” she captioned the video montage on Instagram. “This year has flown by. I’m off to Las Vegas next week to crown my heir! I was 20 weeks pregnant with Miss Flora Jo during this pageant. ♥️”

In the shot, Neeleman is seen wearing a variety of glamorous ensembles such as a sequined mini dress and blue fringed skirt, a royal blue one-piece swimsuit with a plunging neckline, and a sparkling halter-neck ball gown with a white cape detail.

Neeleman went on to compete in the Mrs. World in January 2024 – just 12 days after she gave birth to her daughter.

Ballerina Farm Controversy Explained: Why Is Everyone Talking About Influencer Hannah Neeleman?

Since her rise to social media fame, Neeleman has been dubbed a “traditional woman,” including a recent viral profile in the UK Sunday Times Magazine.

The influencer, however, told the publication that she “doesn’t necessarily identify” with the title “because we’re traditional in the sense that it’s a man and a woman, we have kids, but I feel like we’re paving a lot of paths that haven’t been paved before.”

Meanwhile, her husband Daniel said: “We were already together, doing what we did. And then came the ‘trad wife’.”

“We can’t help ourselves,” he added. “This is who we are. If we’re a trad dad, a trad wife, so be it.”

Neeleman further clarified her stance in an Instagram clip posted on Wednesday, July 31, saying that she and Daniel still have “a lot of dreams to pursue.”

Of the couple’s 13-year marriage, Hannah said on Instagram: “Together we built a business from scratch. We brought eight children into this world and we always prioritized marriage. We are co-parents, co-CEOs, diaper changers, kitchen cleaners and decision makers.”
