She announced on Instagram that her boy has a “congenital heart condition called ‘Bicuspid Aortic Valve'”.

Jess said: “Something he’s born with and it happens to 1% of us. Basically, instead of having three leaflets in his aortic valve like most, he only has two.

“This condition affects how blood flows from the heart to the rest of the body and will require monitoring and care over time.

“I won’t go into all the details now, but although this is not a fatal disease, please, we are coming to terms with the fact that our son will need an intervention at least twice in his life.

“By intervention I mean open heart surgery. Saying those words out loud physically hurts my soul.”

The star continued: “We know Presley is strong and resilient.

“With the help of modern medicine, Presley will live as normal a life as the next child, we hope and pray.

“I also know that this platform will help me share and get information, express my feelings, find answers to questions and provide much needed support and knowledge to others in need.

“I’d love to hear from any other parents navigating this unknown and very scary territory, because knowledge is power and it’s comforting to know we’re not alone.”

Dozens responded to the star, with one sharing: “Hi Jess, my son was diagnosed with the same diagnosis, I didn’t know until a week after I had him with my other 2 children that they were fit and healthy, it was such a shock and for the system.

“At four weeks he had a valve lengthening operation and it’s been amazing ever since. He’ll be 14 months next week and he’s praying he won’t have to have open heart surgery anytime soon.”

Another said: “My son has aortic stenosis and bicuspid aortic valve, he’s 11 and doing well, we haven’t needed any intervention yet.

“As he got older, there was a slight improvement that kept him stable and could be for decades.

“A lot of people don’t find out until they’re at least 50 years old.

“It’s really scary at first and can limit certain careers, but they can and will have a very fulfilling life xxx”

Former Towie star Jess tied the knot with businessman William on one of Spain’s popular Balearic Islands in 2021.

Jess revealed that she was engaged to William back in March 2020.
