She reportedly briefly dated casting director Dennis Nagpal. While there were rumors that Bandi cheated on Dennis with Puneesh Sharma, Bandi said that the two broke up before she entered Bigg Boss Season 11. She also accused Dennis of waiting to “share” her with his friends. Dennis responded,
I am a very possessive person. I’m not very possessive, but possessive is pretty good, jitna ek boyfriend ko hona chahiye (just like a boyfriend should be). In 2017, she started dating Bigg Boss co-star Puneesh Sharma. It was a fake relationship at first, but they came together like a real couple. In July 2023, Bandgi and Puneesh parted ways after five years together. Puneesh and Bandgi said the breakup was amicable.

Bandgi started his career as a software engineer. Her first job was while she was in college, when she walked the ramp for a brand. In 2017, Bandgi participated in Bigg Boss Season 11 (Padosi Bajayenge Barah). She was evicted on the 63rd day of the reality show. She became popular for working with Puneesh Sharma and dating him off-screen. In 2018, she and Puneesh appeared in the music video of Meet Bros and Khushboo Grewal’s song “Love Me”.

Bigg Boss Questions
Bandgi and Puneesh Sharma were embroiled in controversy during the filming of Bigg Boss. First, Benjy was accused of being unfaithful to her boyfriend Dennis Nagpal. During Bigg Boss, Dennis posted on social media that he was breaking up with Bhanji because he got too close to Puneesh, but Bhanji confirmed that she was not dating Dennis at that time. Dennis also mentioned in the interview that the couple had plans to get married. Secondly, Puneesh and Bhanji were warned by Salman Khan for “inappropriate” PDA (public display of affection) on the show. He said,
Puneesh and Bandagi, you have to be very careful about presenting yourselves on national television because your parents are also watching the show. ”

Attack on Benjy and her dog
In February 2024, Benjy shared on her Instagram account that she and Tim Tim (her pet dog) were attacked by an old lady while walking. She said the woman, aged around 60-65, beat her pet with a slipper. She posted a video of the incident on YouTube.
