Barbie Blank is a mom!
The former professional wrestler, 36, known to her WWE fans as Kelly Kelly, welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, with husband Joe Coba.
The couple welcomed a son, Jaxon Matthew, and a daughter, Brooklyn Marie, on Sunday, September 10.
“Brooklyn was born first, at 9:46 a.m. at 6 lbs., 11 oz., followed by Jaxon at 9:47 a.m. at 6 lbs., 5 oz.,” the proud new parents told PEOPLE.
As for the twins’ names, the new mom explains, “Joe and I wanted to give our kids strong names that start with the first letter of our names; J & B. They got their middle names from my mom and dad, Robin Marie and Ronald Matthew. Both the babies are happy, healthy and we couldn’t be more in love with our little bubble baby!”

Pregnant Barbie Blank Celebrates Twins in Adorable Bee-Themed Baby Shower: ‘Most Amazing Experience’
Blank Coba discovers that her birth plan ended up being very different from what she imagined.
“Throughout my pregnancy, I was completely committed to a natural birth. I was determined to push both of our babies out. I hired a doula @lauragimbert, took birthing classes, and had a detailed birth plan. Throughout my pregnancy, the babies were in ideal positions; Brooklyn was low, face down below ‘Baby A’ with Jaxon above, identified as ‘Baby B.’ Everything had to be perfect,” she explains.
“As we got closer to 36 weeks, I started seeing my surgeon every few days to look for evidence of natural induction. I tried every natural induction method possible and I still had no dilation and the babies had changed positions where they were both the heads were occupying the same space. The doctor told me that I would most likely have to have a C-section.”

The twin mum admits she was “devastated at first” when she heard the news, which “went against everything I had planned”, prompting her to ask the doctor for more time to wait it out, as long as the babies were safe.
“We waited until 38 weeks when I finally had to accept that these babies were going to come out by planned C-section,” she says, admitting that while it deviated from her plan, she had a wonderful hospital experience.
“Our doctor and the hospital were great to us, they did everything they could to accommodate my birth plan. When the babies were born, they were immediately lifted above the surgical drape for Joe to hold and for me to finally met and give them a kiss. Joe cut both of their umbilical cords and the three of them went to the recovery room while I got stitches,” she says.

“When I got to the recovery room, both babies were skin-to-skin on Joe’s chest. Joe and the nurses handed me my babies as I held them to my chest for the first time. My heart melted immediately,” the new mom raves. I waited 9 months for this moment, fantasizing and fantasizing about holding my babies for the first time. There is nothing that can describe the love I feel for my son and daughter.”
So far, Blank Coba has had success nursing twins.
“Both babies were breastfeeding and I knew my goal was to tandem breastfeed my twins, no matter how hard everyone told me it would be. I was determined. The second time I got them to feed at the same time was the most magical moment for me,” she shares. “We learned so much from the hospital staff and got to build an ongoing bond with our children in a controlled environment.”
Since bringing her babies home, Blank Coba says the experience has been “amazing.”
“Mine and Joe’s life has been blessed and forever changed in a way we both dreamed of for so long,” she says. “I am so excited for this new chapter in my life with our new family.”

In July, Blank and her husband enjoyed a bee-themed baby shower with family and friends, talking to PEOPLE exclusively about the event. “The theme of the shower was a bumblebee theme, specifically a beehive, like a structure where bees raise their young,” the mom-to-be said at the time.
At the event, her husband surprised her with a sweet gift for their two new members. “Joe also surprised me by tattooing our initials J & B on his wedding finger, which are also our twins’ initials, so it was such a special moment for him to do that at our shower,” she said. PEOPLE.
She also shared how she felt as she entered her third trimester. “Overall, I had an amazing pregnancy. The first trimester was a bit difficult with all the morning sickness, but once I got over that, the rest of my pregnancy was easy,” she said.

“There are times when I’m just sitting there thinking ‘OMG! Right now I have three heartbeats inside of me and two tiny humans in my stomach!’ It literally blows my mind and really proves that women’s bodies are magical and that we can do anything.”
At the time, Blank Coba said she was excited to meet her babies later this year and “tell them their mom was one badass wrestler.”
“And to show them all my old matches, memorabilia and hopefully wrestle one more time with them sitting in the front row cheering on mom!”
