Where are you, Barry Keoghan?
The Saltburn actor, 32, was in Virginia on the Short n’ Sweet Tour on Sunday, Oct. 20, to support Sabrina Carpenter, with whom he’s been romantically involved — albeit “on and off” — since late 2023.
As Carpenter, 25, watched from the crowd at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Keoghan was captured on fan footage reacting to her singing “Bed Chem,” a song that was speculated to be about their relationship.
In the song, from 2024 Short and sweetshe sings, “Who’s the cute boy with the white jacket and the thick accent?” — among other even texts.
As she sang those lyrics at Sunday’s concert, Keoghan seemed dizzy, especially after a line with a “thick accent,” at which point he covered his mouth with a piece of paper to hide a smirk or blush.

Keoghan previously cheekily mentioned “Bed Chem” in September. While sitting front row at the Burberry Spring/Summer 2025 show at London Fashion Week, he was snapped wearing a white jacket.
Vogue then he TikToked his arrival to Carpenter’s “Bed Chem” with the caption, “Who’s the cute boy with the white #Burberry jacket and thick accent? Maybe it’s #BarryKeoghan at #LFW?”

Keoghan replied: “He’s something of an Irish porson,” a nod to a tweet joking about their relationship. After rumors surfaced that he would reprise his role as the Joker in the Batman II, user X wrote, “sabrina carpenter: so who’s the joker? barry keoghan: he’s like an evil porson.”
The BAFTA winner and the “Espressa” singer reportedly first met during Paris Fashion Week 2023 and fueled romance rumors after they were spotted out for dinner in Los Angeles two months later in December 2023.

Sabrina Carpenter says casting Barry Keoghan for the music video was an unbiased move: ‘Who’s the best actor I can find?’
The singer recently invited Keoghan to star in her “Please Please Please” music video. She later insisted that she was not biased when she chose him for the role in the conversation with CBS Sunday Morning Tracy Smith.
“I honestly — like, not even a biased opinion — was like, ‘Who’s the best actor I can find for this music video?’ And he was in the chair next to me,” Carpenter said. “And he was so excited about it.”

In the video, Keoghan and Carpenter take on classic crime pairings like Bonnie and Clyde Born killers. The actor is a hardened criminal, and Carpenter witnesses him repeatedly committing crimes until she gets tired of bailing him out of prison.
Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour kicked off in September in Columbus, Ohio, and will conclude its 2024 run in Los Angeles on November 15. The tour will continue in 2025 with international stops starting in Dublin on March 3rd.
