Bastien started his acting career in 2009 with a film called “Les Destruction”. After that, he starred in “The Guardians of the Order” in 2010. His collaboration with Valerie Donzelli began in “Declaration of War” and continued in “Hand in Hand” (2012) and “Marguerite et Julien”. In 2013, he formed a close friendship with the filmmaker Sébastien Betbeder. “Two Autumns, Three Winters” was a successful film, followed by the little-seen “Debout sur la montagne” in 2019, in which he collaborated with William Lebghil and Izïa Higelin.
In 2014, Bastien was nominated for the Lumière Award for Most Promising Actor for his performance in Julie Lopes-Curval’s “High Society.” He is a frequent collaborator with Dominic Moore, starring in 2019’s Only Animals and starring in 2022’s Night of the Twelve, which premiered in Cannes.
