And the former Manchester City ace is believed to have identified the England ace as one of his key targets to rebuild the squad.
Kompany is believed to be a big fan of Grealish and Munich think there could be a chance to lure the former Aston Villa midfielder to Germany.
They think the chance to link up with Harry Kane will be a huge asset.
The success Jadon Sancho has enjoyed since returning to Germany could also open Grealish’s eyes to the opportunities that exist outside the Premier League.
Despite being a key part of City’s recent successes, Grealish has fallen slightly down the pecking order at the Etihad over the past 12 months.
His goal-scoring record has been questioned, and although he has struggled with injuries, there have been big games without him this season.
This means that he is unlikely to be a starter for England at the Euros.
And Munich think they could offer Grealish the chance to resurrect his career and boost his international prospects at the same time.

But that move is likely to meet fierce resistance from Pep Guardiola.
He is a huge fan of Grealish and has already let City officials know he wants to keep his squad together to do their best for a fifth successive league title next season.

Grealish is also seen as a key figure in the dressing room and any departure from the club would horrify his teammates.
He became a much-loved cult figure among City fans and the general public for his antics following the club’s success.

One player who will be leaving is Kalvin Phillips. Guardiola decided that the player’s disastrous spell at City had to come to an end and it would make sense for both parties if he left this summer.

But the Hammers – who took Phillips on loan last season – are not believed to be interested in a permanent deal.
Fulham follow Phillips, as well as his former club Leeds.
SunSport understands Leeds would be interested in a season-long loan deal for Phillips if they win the Championship play-off final.
Phillips – who remains a cult hero at Elland Road – would be welcomed back with open arms.
But Manchester City are believed to favor a permanent deal which could exclude Leeds from a fairytale deal to bring the player back to Yorkshire.
