Naga Munchetty sparked a reaction from viewers on Friday morning when she and fellow BBC Breakfast host Ben Thompson shared a hilarious video on the program as they discussed the news.
The broadcasters, who are performing back-to-back this week while Charlie Stayt takes a break, showed viewers at home a viral video of a man being hit by a pigeon, and Naga’s response sent fans into a frenzy.

Naga hosts the show between Thursday and Saturday each week and usually co-hosts alongside fellow Breakfast star Charlie Stayt. However, Charlie has been noticeably absent in recent weeks, leaving Naga to be joined by other presenters including Ben Thompson.
Ben often gets up for the main hosts when they are away from the sofa. He is also a familiar face to viewers on BBC News, where he hosts the channel’s daily business programme, Business Live.

Charlie has been part of the BBC family since 2006. Prior to joining the BBC, Charlie was the main presenter of Five News. His absence from Breakfast is not explained, but it is possible that the host is simply taking some time off.
Charlie is not the only star who has been absent from the show recently. Weather anchor Carol Kirkwood has been absent from her usual spot on the program since last week, with Matt Taylor filling in for the most part.
