PROCEED the thought of poor old JAMIE VARDY.
Not content with humiliating him in the stupidest high court battle of the century against Coleen Rooney — and racking up a bill of more than £3 million in the process — his delusional wife Becky is now rubbing salt in the wound with a series of expensive exotic holidays and lavish lifestyle choices that understandably raise eyebrows among friends.

Jamie is entering the final stages of his career at Leicester City, who are now in the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League last year, with the former England striker spending most of his time shivering on the bench at glamorous hot spots such as Rotherham, Blackburn and, this weekend, Middlesborough.
And while Becky was a regular at his Premier League games, where she enjoyed the full Wag treatment, I’m told she’s far less interested in strolling along to Second Division football.
Instead, she’s thrown herself into a new hard-partying lifestyle while he sits in the pouring rain on a Tuesday night.
As one friend tells me: “He must be pulling his hair out.” It’s like she’s learned nothing — their legal bills are astronomical, and she’s just flaunting her wealth and glamorous holidays.”
Recent indulgences Becky has posted online include a trip to Las Vegas with friends, where she enjoyed VIP tickets to see Adele and Usher’s residency, along with seats at Magic Mike Live.
She also posed naked on the balcony of her suite at the luxurious five-star Cosmopolitan overlooking the strip.
On the same trip, she was photographed getting a tattoo.
She had flown to Dubai three weeks earlier, friends telling her she wanted to avoid rival Coleen’s Disney+ documentary about their trial.
While there, she posed for more photos at the posh hotel.
In August, she posted photos from a five-star trip to Portugal.
During the Wagatha Christie trial, Coleen’s lawyers complained that Becky had asked for more time to pay her bills.
While in Portugal, Jamie was getting to grips with the new season, the last of his two-year contract, so his future is up in the air.
The friend added: “He’s fighting desperately to keep going and making big money while she blows it as fast as he can and he’s at the end of his job.
“She doesn’t seem to have any idea how much money she cost them and what that really means.”
I quickly did the math for her.
Jamie earns £140,000 a week, just over £7m a year, but half of that goes to tax.
That means he hasn’t spent a penny this year, just to pay the costs of her absurd trial – and they already have an expensive life.
Which means the poor guy will have to find a very well paid new contract for next season and beyond, and probably keep playing until he’s 53.
If I were Jamie’s agent, I’d be phoning Saudi Arabia’s hugely lucrative new league direct and asking if he could fly there for the megabucks alongside former Premier League colleagues Cristiano Ronaldo, Jordan Henderson and Steven Gerrard, who is now manager.
He’s going to pay big, and Becky is going to have to stay out of trouble for once.
A win is a win.

AFTER nine weeks of training and two months sober, Radio 2’s Vernon Kay today begins his massive Children In Need ultramarathon challenge, which will see him run 110 miles over four days.
He travels from Leicester to his home town of Bolton in one of the station’s most physically demanding fundraisers to date.

Last night, Vernon told me from his hotel: “I’m afraid.
“Besides doing 110-plus miles, the altitudes we do are pretty high.
“I have three and a half suitcases full of all the clothes I could possibly need for all time.
“I have more panties than a man could dream of and Vaseline on my nipples and everywhere else.
“I’ve heard of crotch rot, when you get wet and keep running, so I’m ready for anything.”
Vernon is being cheered on from home by his wife Tess Daly, who raised more than £1 million with her Strictly co-star Claudia Winkleman after dancing non-stop for 24 hours.
Vernon said: “Tess said to me, ‘You’re angry for doing that’.
“She did a 24-hour danceathon and her calves and back gave her a lot of flak even a year after, so she was adamant
“I have to take care of myself.”

I’ve long grown tired of the constant cycle of superhero movies – and now it seems audiences feel the same way.
The latest, The Marvels, made just £38m in its opening weekend in the US, the lowest opening for any film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

That figure was down 67 percent compared to 2019’s Captain Marvel, which featured Brie Larson’s character.
Analyst David A Gross said, “This is Marvel’s unprecedented box office collapse.”
The new film, which also stars Zawe Ashton, is believed to have suffered from the actors’ strike, which has just ended and meant the actors were unable to promote it on chat shows or in other interviews.
It also received lukewarm reviews from critics.
It has a long way to go to recoup the staggering £179 million spent on its creation.
THE BEATLES AND FOR ALBUM NUMBER 1
THE BEATLES could double the charts this Friday as they are on course for a No.1 album.
Already at the top of the singles chart with their latest song Now And Then, the Fab Four are in the lead for their 17th number one album, according to official chart figures.

The reissue of their first greatest hits compilation, 1967-1970, better known as the Blue Album, moves to number one, after peaking at number two on its 1973 release.
Only 1,000 sold behind was their second greatest hits record, 1962-1966, known as the Red Album, which reached No. 3, also in 1973.
The boxset of both albums is also climbing the charts, sitting at No. 9 last night.
Even 63 years after their founding, they cannot be stopped.

Although, I assume, they were lined with fur. In another shoot for a festive campaign for French fashion label Jacquemus – shot against a backdrop of palm trees and a sun-filled sky – she wore a red crop top while lying in a truck full of snow.
Kendall in a relationship with Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny (29) can be seen in the new series of the family’s reality show The Kardashians.
Given his insane winter outfit, I can’t see him at Ski Sunday anytime soon.
CANCELING THE BLINDED SLIPKNOT DRUMMER
Former SLIPKNOT drummer Jay Weinberg said he was “heartbroken and blindsided” to be unceremoniously axed from the group after a decade.
The heavy metal band said out of the blue this month that he would no longer be part of the group due to creative differences.
