Bejan Daruwalla is a famous Indian astrologer. He is well versed in various forms of astrology including Vedic astrology, Western astrology, I Ching, Tarot card reading, Kabbalah and Palmistry.

He was born in Bombay on Saturday, July 11, 1931 (aged 89 at the time of his death). His star sign was Cancer. He graduated from St. Xavier’s High School, Mirzapur, Ahmedabad. Later, he graduated from SND College of Arts, Ahmedabad and completed his further studies at Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He holds a PhD in English.

Profession

Initially, he worked as an English professor in Ahmedabad. In 1966, he started working as an astrologer. He is associated with several newspapers, magazines, television stations and publishing houses across the globe. Some of his popular predictions are:

He breathed his last on Friday, May 29, 2020, at the Apollo Hospital in Ahmedabad. He had been on a ventilator for a week before his death. He had pneumonia-like symptoms. According to some media reports, he tested positive for COVID-19. However, his son Nastul denied the news and said that he died of pneumonia and lack of oxygen to the brain. This led to his death.

On May 29, 2020, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani wrote on Twitter:

Saddened by the passing away of renowned astrologer Shri Bejan Daruwalla. My prayers for the deceased. My deepest condolences. Om Shanti…”
