Bella Thorne on Why Her Jewelry Line Is Perfect for Snuggling Fiancé Mark Emms: ‘Big Cuddle Bugs’ (Exclusive)

Bella Thorne loves jewelry so much that she will wear hers 24 hours a day.

“My jewelry is just an addition to who I am. So I exercise in it, sleep and shower in it. I just never take it off,” the former Disney star told PEOPLE exclusively at a preview event for her THORNE jewelry brand, which she debuted in 2022.

She also likes to cuddle with her fiance, Mark Emms – but not without her favorite accessories.

So when is Divinity star, 26, decided to create THORNE’s holiday collection (including the brand’s bestsellers), her priority was creating intricate designs that don’t scratch or dig into the skin — and says Emms, a film producer, is “100 percent” happy to.

She explained that since she and Emms are “big wimps” in bed, it’s important that her rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces are secure to fit (even if some pieces have charms).

And when asked if Emms helped test the product, Thorne says he was “through the whole testing process.”

Thorne and Emms confirmed their engagement in May after nine months of dating. Emms popped the question on May 13 at Thorne’s home in California, he reported Vogue. He presented Thorne with an emerald-cut diamond ring that has more than 10 carats, and they celebrated with a family gathering afterward, according to the outlet.

Earlier this month, at a THORNE preview, the “Walk with Me” singer also opened up to PEOPLE about their romance, which she says has been “enhanced” since the engagement.

“Every day we are getting closer,” she says. “It’s really like, ‘Oh wow, we’re real, you’re my partner.’ Let’s do this together,” she says. “So it’s becoming more and more real every day and it’s making our partnership stronger every day.”

The couple are “definitely well past” the honeymoon phase of their relationship, but are still growing together.

“[We’re] we’re still really learning each other’s traits and trying to match them before we get married so we don’t come up with all this stuff on the table,” she says. “I think me and Mark are really on our tongue now, we’re talking now, so we can just do it or work through it or decide how we want to feel about it.”

“Or if we need to see a therapist for that particular topic, then we’ll do that,” she adds.
