Ben Affleck makes sure Jennifer Lopez knows “everything’s going to be okay.”
In a multi-hyphenate superstar documentary The greatest love story never toldwhich debuted Tuesday on Prime Video, Affleck, 51, comforts his wife, 54, in the middle of filming her concept musical This is me . . . Now: A love story.
“I had good intentions with this, I just don’t want to be shit,” Lopez tells Affleck in the clip, referring to her musical film, to which he replies, “You know you’re scared.”
The “Waiting for Tonight” singer then says she’s afraid she’s “going to smoke some fucking dick.”

“You’ll be afraid it’s going to be crap until it happens,” the Gone Girl the star assures his wife, while making her smile with a surprised face. “You have to distinguish between things that are bad in terms of DNA and things that just don’t work right.”
Lopez interjects that she doesn’t think “DNA” is “bullshit” per se, to which the two-time Oscar winner comforts her by saying, “Well, that’s all you need.”
“It’s just crap right now,” she declares.

Affleck tells her once again that it’s not “bullshit.”
“It’s wrong. It’s just inexperience, not having done this process before,” he tells the two-time Grammy-nominated musician.
Lopez then teases Affleck as she throws her arms around his neck.
“I’m sorry I’m not an award-winning director. I’m sorry. I’m sorry I wasn’t doing all the things at 21,” she says, as her husband interrupts her: “Well, if I was doing a music concert, if I was doing a rock show, I’d say you: ‘Tell me how this is going. Do you usually get scared before a performance?'”
