Ben Affleck Jokingly Says Wife Jennifer Lopez’s Breastplate Look Gave Him 'PTSD': Here's Why 

The actor reacted to his wife’s armored outfit while speaking to Variety at Elle’s Women in Hollywood 2023 event.

Jennifer Lopez’s recent red carpet look hit the spot also close to home for husband Ben Affleck.

On Tuesday, Lopez, 54, revealed her famous abs in a backless Grace Ling dress with a striking metallic armor top. EllaWomen in Hollywood at the ceremony, where she was awarded the Icon award.

The designer piece was definitely sexy This is me… now singer with her midriff cut and underbust dose.

However, Affleck jokingly said Diversity in case the futuristic ensemble gave him “PTSD” and “flashbacks” to his Batman suit.

During his career, Affleck, 51, played the DC Comics superhero in five different films: Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, justice league, Zack Snyder’s Justice Leagueand Flash.

Teasing aside, the couple – who tied the knot in July 2022 after reconciling the previous year – looked in love on the carpet.

Not surprisingly, Affleck had a funny take on his wife’s appearance. While appearing on Living with Kelly and Mark earlier this year, Lopez said that his feedback sometimes turns her off, but she finds humor in his honest opinions.

“He doesn’t come to rehearsal or anything like that,” Lopez explained. “But if I’m getting dressed and we’re going to a red carpet or a big event, I ask, ‘What do you think? This one or this one? Do you like this or this?’ Stuff like that.”

She added: “Sometimes he’ll joke with me and say, ‘Where’s the rest of the shirt?’ And I say: ‘No, this one has nothing else’.

But fashion tips aside, the Grammy-nominated performer says she’s never felt more beautiful than when she’s with her man.

“I feel even more relaxed and comfortable, which makes me feel even more beautiful than I’ve ever felt with anyone else,” she said. Vogue in November, noting that Affleck “wants me to realize my worth and know my worth.”

Since their extravagant wedding ceremony last August, Affleck and Lopez have made several public appearances as a couple.

At the LACMA Art + Film Gala, they paired their romance with chic black attire (she in a champagne-colored dress paired with a sparkly necklace, and he in a traditional black suit). They had another glamorous date during the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend. Lopez wore a David Koma dress with bling, while Affleck wore a blue suit.
