The thought leadership conference, which was founded in 2007, focuses on the larger electronic music ecosystem and offers networking opportunities in addition to live seminars, keynote interviews, technological masterclasses, performances, and live seminars.
Additionally, it releases the IMS Business Report yearly. Each year, co-founder Pete Tong and colleague BBC Radio 1 dance broadcaster Jaguar headline the event.
IMS Ibiza will continue to be run by its co-founders Tong, Ben Turner, Danny Whittle, Mark Netto, and Simeon Friend, according to the Beatport acquisition announcement.
