Beyoncé celebrates her birthday in style!
The “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer shared a glimpse of her 43rd birthday celebration at a tropical resort with husband Jay-Z on Instagram on Friday, Sept. 6 — including the colorful, retro-inspired ensemble she wore for the occasion.
In photos and videos posted by Beyoncé, she could be seen posing around the resort in a green, brown, black and white patterned miniskirt with sheer green gloves and matching green and black heels. She completed the look with brown rhinestone-dazzled sunglasses and a matching patterned scarf over her hair.

Beyoncé could be seen in multiple photos carrying a large brown suitcase and posing with it in front of the cabin and on the boardwalk. In some photos, she was holding balloons and drinks.

Beyoncé mixed the photos with more casual shots of her and her husband – who wore a white shirt, white hat and brown patterned trousers – relaxing on a sofa at the resort. The pair can be seen smiling together as they sip drinks and even strike a fierce pose for the camera in the latest photo.
“So thankful for another year,” Beyoncé captioned the photos. “Thank you for the full birthday wishes. 🙏🏾🐝.”

Beyoncé seems to be wrapping up a very busy year with some rest and relaxation. The singer released her latest album, Act Two: Cowboy Carterearlier this year following the conclusion of her Renaissance world tour (based on her acclaimed 2022 album renaissance) in October 2023.

Beyoncé earned the second most nominations at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards, behind Zach Bryan. Her song “Texas Hold ‘Em” from the album even landed a spot on former President Barack Obama’s summer 2024 playlist.

The song also reached No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart upon its release, helping Beyoncé make history as the first black female singer to reach No. 1 on the chart.
She also recently celebrated the launch of her own whiskey brand, SirDavis Whiskey, which pays tribute to her home state of Texas and her family. The drink was named after her great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who was a farmer and moonshine maker in the South.
“When I discovered that my great-grandfather was a moonshine maker, it seemed that my love of whiskey was destined. SirDavis is a way for me to honor him, uniting us through a new shared legacy,” Beyoncé said in the post.
