Palash Sen is an Indian singer, songwriter, musician, composer, doctor, director and actor. In 1998, he formed the Indian pop rock band Euphoria, serving as the lead singer and guitarist.

Palash Polly Sen Sharma was born on Thursday, September 23, 1965, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (58 years; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Libra. He is from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
He grew up in Srinagar and Delhi. He attended St Columba’s School in Delhi. He subsequently completed his BA (Hons) in Zoology from Hansraj College, Delhi. However, after a year, he dropped out of college to study for a Bachelor of Medicine in Internal Medicine. In 1985, he entered University College of Medicine, Delhi (UCMS) to pursue his Bachelor of Medicine in Internal Medicine.
Subsequently, he received his Master’s Degree in Orthopedics from Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi. He holds three international doctorates; namely in philanthropy, arts and culture and an honorary doctorate.

While he was studying at Hansraj College, he met his classmate Shalini, who was an Associate Professor (Department of Biochemistry). Soon, they became friends and later started dating. On November 9, 1990, the couple got married.
At the time, they were both pursuing higher education. They have a son, Kinshuk Sen, who is a theater artist and actor. Their daughter’s name is Kena Sen.

In 1998, while still in college, he formed a band “Euphoria”. Initially, he composed only English songs. The first piece he wrote for the band was “Heaven on the Seventh Floor,” which he dedicated to his college dorm room. Later, he met an Indian DJ named Bhaduri, and the two wrote many Hindi songs for the band.
In 1998, Euphoria released the first Hindi single “Dhoom Pichuk Dhoom” from the album “Dhoom”, which became an instant hit.
Some of the other Hindi music albums released by the band include ‘Phir Dhoom’ (2000), ‘Gully’ (2003), ‘Mehfuz’ (2006), ‘Sharnaagat’ (2012) and ‘Sale’ (2021 Year).
Euphoria has released several Hindi singles such as “Mantra” (2001), “Halla Bol” (2017), “Alvida” (2018).
Some of the band’s popular Hindi songs include “Sha Na Na” (1998), “Maeri” (2000), “Ab Naa Jaa” and “Aana Meri Gully” (2003).
Euphoria has collaborated with various singers and bands on Hindi songs such as “Jeet Lo Dil” (2004) with Strings, “Saajna” (2018) with Akriti Kakar, “Saajna” with Dino James ” (2021) and with Kena Sen (2021).
In 2010, the band sang “Delhi Meri Jaan” for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi. Palash and his bandmates have performed live at various events and stage shows.

Criticized for sexist remarks
In 2013, Parsh was invited to perform at an event at IIT Bombay. However, after the event, a student named Arpita Phukan Biswas wrote a blog criticizing Palash for making sexist remarks on the show. He said girls were beautiful creatures created by God, while men were more intelligent, she wrote. However, when Palash was asked the same question, he said that the girl was explaining everything wrong. He even said that he would not perform on campus again until the IIT Bombay authorities apologized to him.
accused of plagiarism
In 2017, Indian film producer Bhargav Saikia sent a legal notice to Palash for plagiarizing scenes from Saikia’s Hindi short film “Jiya Jaye” in his film “Kaafiron Ki Namaaz”. However, Palash said he had no knowledge and would not do anything unethical.

- In 2012, he filed a copyright lawsuit against Indian music composer Ram Sampath, accusing him of copying the chorus of the song Satyameva Jayate from his second album “Phir Dhoom” in the Hindi TV series “Satyamev Jayate”.
- During one of his concerts at a Punjabi engineering college, a young boy approached him and asked Palash to let him perform on stage to open the show for him. Palash agreed and told the boy after his performance that one day he would become a famous singer. In an interview, Palash revealed that the boy was Indian singer and rapper Badshah.
