Beyoncé announced the title of her upcoming country album on Tuesday. After previously teasing that she would release a country music project and the next phase of her acclaimed album in 2022. renaissance On March 29, she officially revealed her name Act Two: Cowboy Carter.
The pop superstar shared the title by simply adding the title and release date to her Instagram bio and posting a photo of a saddle with a red, white and blue belt that says “Cowboy Carter” on her Instagram Story.

Sharing a series of old magazine covers of her daughter dressed in cowboy gear on Instagram, Knowles, 70, wrote in the caption: “Just came across this video on my IG feed! We’ve always celebrated cowboy culture growing up in Texas.”
She continued, “We’ve also always understood that it’s not just about being in a white culture. There is a great culture of black cowboys in Texas. Why do you think my kids integrated that into their fashion and art from the beginning.”
The message concluded: “When people ask why Beyoncé wears cowboy hats? It’s really funny, I’m actually laughing because it’s been around since she was a kid, we went to the rodeo every year and my whole family dressed up in western fashion. Solange made an entire brilliant album and project based on Black Cowboy Culture. It was definitely part of our culture growing up.”
