Blue Ivy is not immune to internet comments either.
In her new concert film, Beyoncé revealed that after her older daughter joined her on stage during several stops of her Renaissance World Tour this summer, the 11-year-old was hit with online criticism of her dancing.
The “Love on Top” singer, 42, said Blue Ivy read negative comments about her dancing after her first surprise appearance on stage in Paris in May.
She said Blue Ivy – who she shares with husband JAY-Z – was determined to prove all the skeptics wrong and committed to working even harder on her dancing.

Beyoncé also admitted that the thought of her daughter joining her on stage at all wasn’t something she particularly relished.
Originally, the idea was for Blue Ivy to appear on stage only once, but even that was not a plan that the singer was very enthusiastic about. In the film, she said that performing in front of thousands is not the place for an 11-year-old girl.
Beyoncé said she almost fainted when her daughter joined her on stage for the first time.
Of the early conversations, Beyoncé recalled in the film, “She told me she was ready to perform and I told her no,” per The New York Times.

Beyoncé’s Dance Captain Ashley Everett Says Seeing Blue Ivy Perform Was Surreal: ‘I Saw Her Start Walking’ (Exclusive)
The improvement Blue Ivy has shown over the months she’s been on tour with her pop star mom hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans. In September, a TikTok compilation compared her dancing at her first performance, when she was quite timid in her moves, to how confident she looked during her later performance in Houston.
“Seeing her confidence grow during this tour has been such a treat,” one user commented on the video.
“Watching her confidence grow throughout the tour made me so proud! She’s progressed so much🥹🥲,” said another fan.

Blue Ivy’s grandmother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, told PEOPLE in July that her granddaughter’s confidence has grown “sky high” since her first performance.
“She’s 11 and she’s had a week to prepare and she’s getting better and better,” said Knowles-Lawson, 69. “So I’m always a proud grandma.”
She joked: “This is a family in heels. You’re taught to walk in heels early,” before adding of Blue Ivy, “She’s having a great time and I couldn’t be more proud of her because she’s worked really hard.”

JAY-Z, 53, is also bursting with pride. Gayle King said CBS Morning last month, “I still get goosebumps when I see her walk on stage.”
“She was born into a life she didn’t ask for. So, ever since she was born, she was under scrutiny and in the public eye and everyone had an opinion even as a little girl, how she maintains her hair,” he said. “So for her to be on that stage and regain her power, and the song called ‘My Power,’ you couldn’t write a better script.”
